Welcome to The Sins of Cinema, a horror and genre site providing DVD and Blu-Ray reviews, writings, news, and blog posts about rare horror VHS- among many other things. I hope you enjoy what my mind spits out.

About

The Sins of Cinema has been operating since 2009, and it's still going strong. Over the past two years, the site has accumulated over 100,000 views and counting. What began as a hobby has introduced me to some of the craziest cinema in existence, and even crazier film makers! I thank everyone for taking an interest in my opinion, and I hope you all see what's in store this year!

The Rating System
There's nothing written in stone about how to review a movie. It's all about the opinion of the individual.

I try to rate films on their enjoyment, fun factor, content, visuals, and final product.

Picture and Audio are rated on quality, lack of blemishes, and if a Blu-Ray or "remastered" DVD has a fitting transfer.

Extras are rated on quality, quantity, how they relate to the film, and physical extras (autographed, limited edition, special package, bonus items, ect.)

Blu-Rays are rated on the use of the pop- up menu, disk layout, and overall presentation.
